Scale 1/18

The Porsche 911 is nowadays at the peak of its popularity but started as the humble succesor of the Porsche 365. Introduced as the 901 it had the same basic layout as its predecessor but in a much more modern package. The Porsche 901 was introduced at the IAA in Frankfurt and came on the market one year later.

Famously Peugeot was not very fond about the use of the three digit name fort he 901 since they claimed the rights on the number-0-number designation. 82 cars bearing the 901 name left the factory before Porsche changed the name to 911 and a legend was born.

This model by CMC celebrates the beginning of the legend in a charming and wonderfully detailed scale model. Built with the use of 971 single parts, this Porsche 901 confirms the reputation of CMC models for building top notch stuff.

A must have for every Porsche enthusiast and/or owner!
